Common international abbreviations

Main abbreviations for linear transport between different ports:

FICY-Freein/Containeryard (without loading at the port-to the container terminal);
FILO-Freein/Linerout (loading at the expense of the sender, unloading at the expense of the line);
FIOS / FIFO – Freein/out (loading and unloading at the expense of the sender);
LI-Door-Linerin / Door (loading in the port at the expense of the line-the client’s “door”).
LIFO-Linerin/Freeout (loading at the expense of the line, unloading at the expense of the sender);
LILO – Linerin/out (loading and unloading at the expense of the line – full linear conditions);
FCL – FullContainerLoad – full loading of the container by one sender to the address of one recipient;
LCL-LessContainerLoading-loading by a single sender with its subsequent delivery to different recipients, a combined cargo.
LI-LastIn-freight forwarder provides the following services, the cost of which is included in the freight rate: removal of the container from the vehicle (auto, railway), placement at the terminal (CY), loading on the ship.
LO-LastOut-freight forwarder provides the following services, the cost of which is included in the freight rate: unloading from the ship, accommodation at the terminal (CY), loading on a vehicle (car, railway).
